Inspired by the Evora Sport 410, this graceful and elegant engine cover-tailgate is made exclusively for all 2010~2014 U.S. Evora & Evora S cars as well as all 2016+ 400/410/430 cars.
Lower the center of gravity and eliminate the factory heavy glass and rear wing with this lightweight, elegant, all-fiberglass unit. The extended-length deck gives a graceful and elegant flow while maintaining the trademark Evora sleekness. Engine venting is improved with the louvered venting—we recommend that the factory engine cover (on top of the engine) be retained to protect the sensitive components. The integrated third brake light is reused from your original wing. Our engine cover-tailgate utilizes the factory hinge system and is ready for a straight-forward, bolt-in installation.
This is a righteous complement to our 400 & 430 bumpers but will also look integrated with our GTE alternatives. This engine cover-tailgate will also fit Lotus Evora 400 cars looking to update their appearance however a brake lamp from the Series 1 cars will be required.
The sleek look of this engine cover-tailgate looks fantastic but for a more aggressive appearance, we also offer two optional wings: A GT4 type and the even more aggressive 430.
This hand fabricated tailgate is available in fiberglass with an exclusive 2K matte-black finish or carbon fiber overlay finish. Like the GTE Radiator Vent Louvers, our engine cover-tailgate is double-wall constructed to maintain OEM-levels of rigidity and manufacturing tolerances.
As with all composite fiberglass pieces, prep & pre-finish work may be needed prior to final painting. Exposed carbon fiber finishes are clear coated with UV protection however due to the nature of composite production, carbon fiber finishes may have minor imperfections.
